Strawberry lemonade popsicles

So our family goes through popsicles like crazy. We have already gone through about 2 bags of those ice pops, and there are only 3 people living in this house. There is just nothing more refreshing than a popsicle when you are outside playing, waiting for the grill to heat up, swimming, swinging, or even in the bathtub. 😉 Well I guess that goes to explain why we go through so many. I really mean it, we will use any excuse to grab one of those frozen beauties from the freezer. Also, it’s a great relief for the teething baby!

The other day while I was perusing around Ikea, looking for more things that I don’t need, I found this little popsicle container. I had one growing up, and would make all kinds of random flavored popsicles, and I remember the anticipation as we waiting for them to freeze fully, and finally be able to try our concoction. It was such a fun memory, so I decided to pick this up for about 2 bucks and give it a try for ourselves!

For our first time out the gate, we decided to try a pretty safe and simple recipe, but it was so good. So refreshing.

Whatcha need:

  • Blender
  • Strawberries
  • Lemonade (we used an all natural lemonade)
  1. Pour some lemonade into the blender
  2. Add some strawberries (I know, this is getting really tricky)
  3. Blend. Blend. Blend. Dance. Blend. Dance. Blend.
  4. Pour blended gold into popsicle container
  5. Freeze for about 6 hours
  6. Enjoy! Preferably outside or someplace you don’t mind getting sticky
  7. Make your kids day 😉

*If you don’t have/don’t want to get a popsicle container, you can always use a cup with a spoon in it

Hope you all enjoy this! Some of the ones on our list to make are:

  • Arnold Palmer
  • Chocolate peanut butter
  • Raspberry lemonade
  • Pina Colada

First and foremost, what ADORABLE pictures you captured! So cute! Second of all, I’ve been wanting to get a popsicle mold for the longest time – I think I’ll go ahead and do it. Your popsicles seems so tasty and I am inspired!
